NUTECH A-1 Packing is a constructed square braid packing with Syntex Fiber with a high temperature lubricant and graphited. Soft and pliable for general service on pumps and valves. Temperature 500 deg F, pH 4-10, speed 1500 FPM, pressure to 300 PSI. Equal to Sepco #402 and Garlock #8909.

NUTECH G-2 Packing is a non-abrasive packing of PTFE fibers that are graphite filled. Graphite lubrication provides a heat transfer media that makes this an excellent packing for shaft and rod service against water, steam, oil, solvent, acids and alkalies to 550 deg F. It can be used in all chemical applications with the exception of oleum fuming nitric acid, aqua regia, fluorine and other strong oxidizing agents. Equal to Sepco #ML-4002, Garlock #5100, Chesterton #1750. Most commonly known as GFO. pH 0-14, speed 4300 FPM, pressure to 300 PSI.

NUTECH S-2 Packing is an environmental for many applications where asbestos has been traditionally specified, especially in water, steam condensate, solvents, petro fluids and acid media. NOT recommended for alkalies, strong acids, strong oxidizing fluids of stripping agents. Speeds to 2200 FPM, temperatures to 500 deg F. Manufactured from Synthetic fiber and PTFE suspensoid. Equal to Sepco #ML2225, Garlock #8922/5801, Chesterton #412-W. pH 0-12, pressure to 500 PSI.

NUTECH G-1 is a low friction, universal packing for pumps and valves, self-lubricating fiber. Manufactured from 100% graphite which can be applied to virtually all pumps and valves. Packing will not harden or glaze over and can result in a maintenance saving many times in excess of the actual packing cost. Applications in air or oxygen up to 850 deg F, up to 1200 deg F in steam, shaft speeds to 4000 FPM. Manufacturers consider this packing a service equivalent to Chesterton 1/375, Garlock #200, Sepco #ML-4444. Pressure to 500 PSI on pumps and 2500 PSI on valves, pH 0-14, Interlock braid.

NUTECH S-1 Packing is aramid fiber with an inert lubricant yarn which allows the packing to be used in higher pressured applications than normally tolerated by other types of braided packings. Because of the stee-like strength of this yarn, it can be employed as back-up rings with other types of packing to combine different features into a packing set. For service in rods, valves, expansion joints, against water, steam solvents, mild acids, alkalies, oil to 500 deg F. Equal to Sepco #ML4800, Garlock #5200/PM-5, Chesterton #1740. pH 3/11, speed 1900 FPM, pressure to 500 PSI.

NUTECH S-3 Packing is non-asbestos, high pressure, high temperature steam valve packing for all ranges of steam valves to 1200 deg F, maximum pressure to 2500 PSI. For valves of steam turbines, and automatic tube blowers. Also high-temp, motor-actuated slide valves and general high pressure valving. Flexible and formable for easy installation. Equal to Chesterton #1800.

Instalon Valve Stem Packing
Double construction of Instalon is 100% virgin PTFE. Its core is PTFE in plastic resin form that squeezes in all directions to fill all voids. Its spiraled covering is a PTFE tape molecularly oriented to resist extrusion. This double construction enables Instalon to conform to uneven flange surfaces. It is not affected by chemicals (except molten alkali metals)...never hardens...never adheres...completely inert.
